Tour of the Solovetsky Monastery. A walking tour (2.5 hours) dedicated to the history and architecture of the monastery's central complex. Tourists will visit operating churches, a wall walk, exhibits, and UNESCO-listed heritage.
Trip to Sekirnaya Mountain. Participants will visit Sekirnaya Mountain, one of the highest points of Bolshoy Solovetsky Island. The peak offers unforgettable views of the northern part of Bolshoy Solovetsky Island and the White Sea. Visitors will learn more about the history and memorials of the Holy Ascension skete. The area was used for punitive confinement during the period of the Solovki Special Camp where prisoners were detained and punished. Tourists will also see the unique lighthouse church. Botanical garden – Makaryevskaya Pustyn tour. Visitors will experience one of Russia's northernmost botanical gardens located in the grounds of the former Makaryevskaya Pustyn (religious retreat). View the memorials of Makaryevskaya Pustyn and unique plants dating to various periods of history and enjoy the amazing view of the Solovetsky Monastery from Aleksandrovskaya Gorka.
